Responsibility:
The Pre-Coordination Design Assist (Pre-BIM) Procedure establishes a structured process for reviewing design models, evaluating constructability, managing design changes, and tracking coordination issues before formal BIM coordination begins. The workflow supports collaboration between project teams, designers, trade partners, and VDC staff during the SD, DD, CD, and Bid phases to identify risks early, improve model quality, and ensure a smooth transition into trade coordination and clash detection.

Responsibility:
Project teams will meet at least once per week with all project foremen to coordinate current and upcoming field activities using the Models tool on Procore. The model will serve as a visual planning tool to help the team communicate working areas, evaluate installation sequencing, identify trade conflicts or constructability concerns, and document issues found in the model or in the field. These meetings are intended to promote proactive planning, shared accountability, and efficient conflict resolution.

Responsibility:
Project teams will use Procore Coordination Issues (CI) to document, track, and manage coordination issues, design conflicts, and constructability concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Procore CI will serve as a centralized platform for identifying issues, assigning responsibility, tracking resolution progress, and maintaining a documented record of decisions and corrective actions. This is intended to improve communication between project stakeholders, increase accountability, streamline issue resolution workflows, and support proactive risk management to minimize impacts on project schedule, cost, and quality.
