Granger Team Matrix
The team member responsibilities are defined and recorded, using the GCC Team Responsibility Matrix. The completed matrix should then be used to complete the Role Chart in the Project Execution PowerPoint.
Supporting Resource:
OAC Matrix
The team member roles will be defined at the internal Team Kick-off Meeting and a Team Role Chart should be developed and included in the Project Execution PowerPoint and posted in the project trailer. An example of a Team Role Chart can be found in the Project Execution Plan Guide.

Quality Control Management Plan
A site-specific quality control management plan is required on ALL Granger projects and should be drafted by the Superintendent and then reviewed by the PM/SPM and Granger Quality Control Manager. This plan is a guide for the quality management on your project, including CD reviews and updates, submittals, permitting and inspections, pre-installation meetings, commissioning, mockup coordination, non-conforming work and punch list items. The referenced guide is an outline that is intended to be followed when creating your site-specific quality control management plan.

Dual Gate System
If you are working on a jobsite that has the potential to have both Union and Non-Union trade contractors, you will want to plan for separate gated entrances. The referenced handbook gives a good overview of definitions, requirements, and rules for a separate gate system.

Jobsite Emergency Contacts
The referenced form should be completed and posted in the jobsite trailer near the entrance. This form includes the Jobsite Address (to give to emergency responders), Medical/Fire/Police Emergency phone info, the address and phone number for the nearest Urgent Care (non-emergency) and Hospital (emergency), and the name/contact info for the onsite Superintendent and/or Safety Supervisor.
Supporting Resource:
Jobsite Specific Safety Plan
A jobsite specific safety plan is required on ALL Granger projects and should be drafted by the Superintendent and then reviewed by the PM/SPM. This plan should include emergency contact information: emergency/first aid protocol; site-specific constraints such as shift work, smoking areas, restricted areas, etc.; identify all potential hazards that may be encountered by the public or onsite personnel; and required safety meetings/ documentation. Urgent Care/Hospital Map
Every Granger project is required to determine the closest Concentra Urgent Care and closest hospital to the site. You should then map out each route, and post the maps with phone numbers and any additional instructions in the jobsite office.
Supporting Resources:
Emergency Action Plan
All Granger projects are required to develop an Emergency Action Plan specific to your project. Consult the Emergency Action Plan template located on the GRID and fill out the project specific portions. This plan should then be reviewed with the team and available to all subcontractors working on your project.

Safety Orientation Process
Responsibility: Superintendent
There is a video and a Site-Specific PowerPoint presentation that make up the Safety Orientation process. The files should be saved from the GRID to your project folder on the P: drive, as well as to your SharePoint site to share remotely with your team and subcontractors. For assistance with this process, email Shannon Todd at stodd@grangerconstruction.com.
ALL on-site employees that go through the Safety Orientation Presentation are required to complete the Granger New Hire Safety Orientation Acknowledgement form. Please save a copy of the signed form with your project safety files.
The initial project team kickoff meeting should include an in-depth review of the site-specific requirements, work hours, safety requirements, etc. This meeting should be attended by the Project Manager and Site Foreman/Superintendent of all of the trade contractors that will be onsite. If it's not feasible to include all subcontractor in one meeting, individual meetings should be held with each subcontractor.
This is a good meeting to review procedures for RFIs, submittals, monthly invoicing, document management (PlanGrid), change management, and LEED or commissioning requirements (if applicable).
There is a templated agenda for this meeting as part of the Procore meetings projet tool. Should be used for all subcontractor kickoff meetings.
Best Practice: Invite your Project Accountant to attend this meeting to go over the monthly billing procedure, necessary backup, and insurance requirements with all of your trade contractors.
